i Overview

LuckyPDF ("we", "our", or "the app") is a PDF productivity tool for iOS developed by an independent developer. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect (if any), how we use it, and your rights as a user.

1 Data We Do Not Collect

LuckyPDF does not collect, store, or transmit:

• Your PDF files or any file content
• Photos or images you process within the app
• Signatures or annotations you create
• Your name, email address, or any personal identifiers
• Your location data
• Device contacts or calendar data

All file processing (merge, split, compress, convert, annotate, sign, rotate, reorder, extract, watermark) happens locally on your device using Apple's PDFKit framework. Files never leave your device unless you explicitly share them via the system share sheet.

2 Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The following minimal data is saved in your device's local storage only:

• App preferences — basic settings (if any) may be stored in UserDefaults on your device only. Nothing is used to gate features behind payments or ratings, and nothing in this category is transmitted off-device.
• Output files — PDFs you create or edit are saved to your device's Documents folder and are accessible only to you.

3 App Permissions

LuckyPDF may request the following iOS permissions:

• Photo Library (read) — only when you use "Image → PDF" to select images. We do not access photos without your explicit action.
• Photo Library (write) — only when you choose to save exported images to your Photos app.
• File access (via document picker) — only for files you explicitly select using the system document picker. We cannot browse your files without your interaction.

All permissions follow the principle of least privilege and are only triggered when you perform a relevant action.

4 App Store & Ratings (StoreKit)

LuckyPDF does not offer in-app purchases or subscriptions. It may use Apple's StoreKit APIs only to show the system App Store rating prompt when you tap Rate LuckyPDF in Settings. Whether the prompt appears, and when, is controlled by Apple; we do not receive your star rating, review text, or any related data.

5 Children's Privacy

LuckyPDF is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete such information.

6 Data Security

Because LuckyPDF does not transmit any of your data to external servers, the primary security of your files is governed by your device's own security features (passcode, Face ID / Touch ID, iOS sandboxing). We strongly recommend keeping your device updated and protected.

7 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
